SmartGrowth AI is powered internally by OpenRouter and included with Basic and Premium. A Basic or Premium plan enables AI features. An administrator assigns your account a token separately so API requests can run. There are no API settings to configure. A local OpenCode connection is also available in development for testing.
Depending on the workflow, requests include project name, description, audience and market; your questions or goals; sampled public page summaries; findings, limitations and metrics. Keep sensitive information out of this context.
The model returns structured research, offering summaries, sampled answers or suggested actions. AI output stays labelled AI-generated. Review sources, assumptions and the actual website before acting.
Interpret sampled sources against a goal and success criteria. The resulting conclusions are hypotheses based on the supplied evidence, not independent verification.
Ask a configured model neutral customer questions, inspect its answers and count brand mentions. This model has no browsing tool here; these samples do not measure ChatGPT Search, Google AI Overviews or every AI engine.
Generate a small set of recommendations from findings and context, with estimated impact and effort. These estimates are prioritisation aids, not measured business outcomes.
DNS checks, page findings and provider metrics come from their stated sources. AI interpretations do not become independently verified measurements. Missing evidence is shown as missing.
The connector instructs the model to treat page content as untrusted evidence, avoid inventing measurements and separate observations from hypotheses. These instructions reduce ambiguity but cannot guarantee correct output.
SmartGrowth does not automatically edit or publish your site. It does not use these AI suggestions to make legal or similarly significant decisions about individuals. You choose the changes to implement and verify the result.
Paid AI requests go through OpenRouter to the selected model provider. In local development, the OpenCode CLI uses its locally authenticated provider. That provider's terms, retention, training settings and processing locations apply. SmartGrowth does not promise that a third-party provider never retains or trains on requests. Your operator should review the selected provider and publish its details in the privacy notice.
Do not include passwords, API keys, private customer records or confidential material in project descriptions, research goals or questions. API authentication is sent separately in the request header.
